Corrections
Email editor@bestkansascity.com with the page URL, the field or classification in question and a source we can check. A company service page, the exact Google listing or an issuing authority's record is useful.
What we review
- Factual errors: names, addresses, website destinations, incorrect listing matches and source transcriptions.
- Service fit: residential electrical or siding services supported by a company source. A Google primary-category change is not required.
- Missing companies: send the exact Google listing and a source for residential service in the Kansas City market. Candidates go through the same evidence and numeric requirements.
- Duplicates, closed companies or unsafe links: include the affected URL and evidence. Broken or unrelated website links can be removed while identity is checked.
How a correction changes a ranking
We check the source, document the decision and rerun the same formula when a correction changes an input or eligibility. We do not change ranks on request or replace dated Google figures with a newer undated number. A company does not have to be a customer to receive a correction.
Timing and record
We review requests as capacity permits and may need more evidence. We do not promise a fixed response deadline. Substantive corrections are dated in the edition log. A request alone does not establish that the published record is wrong.
